Combat is the best part of Beast of Reincarnation, courtesy of a satisfying combat system filled with experimentation and tense fun. If only the rest of Game Freak's venture into the action space matched it.
Unraveling the truth behind the unsolved deaths of a group of people gathering at a mansion one stormy night is engrossing and inventive, with a tale that keeps you guessing until its final moments.
The core elements of multiplayer and the campaign remain fundamentally
unchanged, but the game serves as a great example of how many subtle
tweaks can add up to an improved overall product
While my love for action/RPGs and respect for Snowblind Studios got me excited for War in the North, they are also what led to me
being incredibly let down by this clumsy and unpolished adventure.
Mastering this title requires both dedication and skill – but even more
than that, you'll need unearthly perseverance to put up with the
downright crappy UI and technical execution along the way.
