The new HD-2D Final Fantasy might be packed with cameos, but it has a little more going for it than just your favorite characters showing up for cool attacks.
Besides learning the anticipated title’s release date, we also got a
chance to step into the sneakers of Juliet Starling and lay waste to
some undead in a freaky arcade.
This just-announced title channels an Art Deco vibe from the last
century while it intrigues us with what appear to be animated shadows
that the player can interact and merge with.
The Kinect/controller hybrid was on display at Microsoft's Spring Showcase, and we had a chance to try out the novel motion controls. Also check out the game's new trailer.
