A True Legend Returns
Everyone’s favorite game is different, but few possess a true claim to being called the greatest video game of all time. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is one of those games that has long been in the conversation whenever that debate stirs up. Not only is it a foundational title for nearly every 3D action title since its release in 1998, but it is the highest-rated video game ever on reviews aggregator Metacritic, with a 99 out of 100 average review score. Now, Nintendo is bringing one of its most acclaimed and beloved masterpieces forward to modern times with a Switch 2- exclusive remake.
We don’t have much to work off, as the teaser trailer opens with several glances of a tapestry showing a few different sights: first, Hyrule Castle, then the Great Deku Tree with a depiction of the Kokiri. A disembodied voice narrates the images as an ocarina provides small musical flourishes from “Saria’s Song.”
