A Fan-favorite Reborn Anew

After notching remakes of Resident Evil 2, 3, and 4 on its belt, it was tricky to tell which entry Capcom would tackle next. Would it revisit the original game and give it a second facelift? Perhaps it would bring the often-overlooked Resident Evil 0 back to the limelight. The loudest cries, however, were for Resident Evil - Code: Veronica to be next in line for the remake treatment. To the delight of the fanbase, Capcom agrees.

Code: Veronica is being reimagined and rebuilt using the same successful formula Capcom first used with Resident Evil 2. In fact, producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi confirmed to us during a Summer Game Fest Q&A session for the game that the same internal team behind the RE 2 and RE 4 remakes is helming what is simply known as Resident Evil Veronica.
