A Realm Revamped

We’re on the homestretch of Dawntrail, which means it’s time to turn our attention to the next adventure the Warriors of Light will embark upon – Evercold. The announcement of the next expansion happened at the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Fest in Anaheim in April. Two more Fan Fests are coming where we will learn more about Evercold, but the longest keynote address ever for a new expansion made sure we have plenty to be excited for in the meantime.

Endwalker marked the end of the Hydaelyn and Zodiark saga that started all the way back in A Realm Reborn. Dawntrail was always meant to be the start of something new, but we never knew how the pieces would fit into the next puzzle. Aside from the new expansion name, we also have the title of the next multi-expansion storyline: The Godless Realms saga. We won’t know how many realms we will visit for several expansions, but we do know that our journey in Evercold will take us to the Fourth.
